Artist description
Kid Charlemagne is an enigma of modern rock and roll. It is difficult to place your finger on the sound of KC. While many say the band sounds "Phishy," this is only evident in a few songs. Our influences are the best way to know us--next to the music itself, of course. We also have a tendency to not take a lot seriously, so be careful if you do. |

Artist History
It all started during James Woodhouse's freshman year. During a visit to Providence College, James met Garrett Rosen, a technically-skilled guitarist. Garrett said he was looking for a singer for his band (his non-existent band). When James matriculated to PC, he and Garrett teamed up to form a band. The band took on a bassist, a drummer, and later a keyboardist ("Asian" Jay Mis). While Garrett was away a year later studying abroad at Oxford, the band took on another guitarist, Pat O'Hara. Amidst some other personnel finaglings, the band ended up with Ed Hadley on drums and Chris Wells on bass. The rest, my friends, is history. We've been playing together for around two or three years now... |
