Artist description
With profound guitars, powerful and intricate drumming, driving bass
and captivating vocals, arrives FOMOFUIAB. This Denver, Colorado based
band, has an intoxicating energy that can no longer be ignored.
In their 2001 self-released 4 song E.P. “Pay Attention” (Recorded at
Morningstar Recording, Parker CO.) FOMOFUIAB exhibits mesmerizing song
structure, instrumental domination and an undeniable talent.
That ability to arrange such an eclectic mix, spills forth into
FOMOFUIAB’s stunning 2003 self-titled, full-length release on Hapi
Skratch Records(Recorded at Rudy’s Studio, Northglenn, CO).
FOMOFUIAB is a hodge podge of sorts, with a hard hitting, highly
trained, precision mad Texan, Mike “Fred” Schneider behind the drums. A
classically trained master of improv, with skull crushing technicality,
western-born, Ty Fury, steps forth to add a dimension of insanity.
Denver native Mike Krening, brings a backbone of funk and jazz style
rhythms, with a touch of complexity that is simply riveting. Add the
angry screams, amidst soulful bellows of Louisiana born Chad Armstrong
and you will find FOMOFUIAB.
What does FOMOFUIAB stand for? This is probably the most popular
question. Mike “Fred” Schneider says, ”Band names sometimes push a
band into a certain genre.” So to buck the system he coined an acronym
that tells it like it is, FOur MOther FUckers In A Band, and that’s all
they are.
Four guys that love to jam together, love to stretch the imagination,
love to entertain and love their fans. “People that like FOMOFUIAB,
like us because they can tell what good music is and they know when you
are genuine or not” says Bassist Mike Krening in a recent interview.
And the fans do love FOMOFUIAB. In the span of two short years this
hardworking band has played in upwards of 200 shows, locally and
regionally. They have received back-to-back awards in the Colorado
Underground Music Awards(C.U.M.A) “People’s Choice Award” 2001 and
“Most Star Power” 2002. FOMOFUIAB also took the crown at the 2002
Denver Colorado’s Hard Rock Cafe “Battle of the bands”.
Seen in an exclusive interview on www.kaffeinebuzz.com and also in
Throat Culture magazine, these four defiantly exhibit that they are a
force to be reckoned with.

Artist History
In The Making.... the story of us 4.
Mike and Fred have been making music together for a while in a previous band lankbox. They met Ty through a friend named Mike Cruz (FAZE). so they hooked up and fucked shit up in fred's basement in August of 2000 .
The three clicked immediatley. it was obvious.
After they decided to get a Jam Space , they wrote a couple bad ass tunes,
then they decided that maybe they would need someone to scream and stuff for those bad ass tunes so... .
Ty thought about bringing in Chad, who played bass at the time and just moved to Downtown Denver in 1999.
Chad and Ty had been working on starting a band themselves before. But never thought about meeting such kick ass motherfuckers as Fred and Mike.
so...ty brought him in
In jan. 2001 ...... they started giggin and now its bee
8 months of fucking domination
Currently FOMOFUIAB has 21+ original songs, and are gigging consistently. They live in Denver, Colorado, so Check out the shows page to see when you can catch FOMOFUIAB.
