Press Reviews
This is a review of our performance at Canal Street Tavern for the 18th Annual Dayton Band Playoffs;
"First to take the stage was Destracore, a neu-metal band in the vein of Korn and Static-X. Loud, pummeling, relentless rhythms mingled with fierce, dark vocals to produce a sonic onslaught of furious songs. Extremely proficient at what it was doing, Destracore definitely converted a few of the audience members that night, which says a lot about the power of the band. It's not easy to win over converts during the first round of playoff action -- most people come to the shows to support the person they know in a specific band and seldom change their votes; but, this night, I know Destracore walked away with at least a few new fans."
