Artist History mike and matt have been in bands together since they were freshmen in high school in 1993. dino and brian have been in bands together since 1992. in 1995, mike, matt and dino were in a band together. then they weren't. then in 1998, mike, matt and dino formed a three piece. they realized that they enjoyed playing music together, but there was something missing. in 1999, co-pilot was formed when brian joined the trio, thus making it a four member situation. a situation which was a good thing. we are always looking for a different name, but since we all collectively write the music, co-pilot seems to fit the bill. mike currently plays guitar for the miracle of 86. matt is currently singing in the secret handshake. brian and dino have real jobs and don't play in bands unless mike and matt give them sandwiches.
