Artist description
Tony Papa along with Adam Brooks Dudding bring honesty back to the art-form of American music. Whether covering old bluegrass standards, tapping out familiar blues sounds, or re-creating the definition of roots-rock with original compositions from both players, Wire & Wood brings to the stage an apparent love for their art along with the energy that accompanies that love at every performance. |

Artist History
Singer/Songwriters Adam Dudding and Tony Papavasilopoulos began creating music together in October of 1999. Immersed in the Dayton, OH music scene, Adam moved to Bowling Green, Ohio in 1993 where he received his BFA in Creative Writing with a minor in music from Bowling Green State University. Continuing to write songs and perform, Adam fronted the band Flying Blind which achieved significant regional success until its dissolve in 1998. Tony Papavasilopoulos, once the guitarist for MU, another successful NW Ohio band, continued performing as a solo artist after the split of his band in 1998. The two musicians have now joined forces creating a large ensemble sound for just two guitars and vocals, and have been making audiences and club owners ecstatic with the magic they bring with them to the stage. |
