Artist History
Michael Anderson is a "self taught" professional keyboardist in Atlanta, Georgia and primarily plays "by ear". He has performed as Organist for the Atlanta Braves; accompanied notable personalities as Loretta Lynn, Anita Bryant and Solomon King; and performed for local, state, national and international dignitaries, including Governors of Georgia (USA), the King of Belgium and the Canadian Prime Minister. His music was used by Atlanta's WSB Radio and Television to promote The LEWIS GRIZZARD Show during 1981 and 1982. His music has been highlighted on the CBS Evening News with Walter Cronkite and was used as background music to a CBS News Special Presentation by Roger Mudd. Michael is the author/instructor of "PIANO MAGIC: The Secrets Of Playing Piano By Ear" (now in its 4th Edition and 5th Printing) which is sold internationally. Michael has personally taught almost 5000 students to play piano by ear through his PIANO MAGIC WORKSHOP, sponsored by over 100 Colleges and Universities across the Southeastern USA. |
