Artist description Laughing Place invokes a mood reminiscent of the communal feeling and spirit that Folk music used to embody in days gone by - the simple collaboration of acoustic guitars, the rich and evocative harmonies, lyrics that paint pictures and tell stories - all resulting in songs that are greater than the sum of their parts.

Artist History Laughing Place has been playing on the LA club scene since 1999. Their debut album, "seeing the elephant" was released in December of 2000. The band is currently promoting their CD, and will be playing all over Southern California, Northern California, and Arizona this Summer. Check their website for more details!
