Artist description
Jack Spaniard's sound is a difficult one to describe. U2's spiritual wanderlust and unique sonics are evident. So too is the more mature, laid back funk of the Californication era Chili Peppers. Yet much more exists beneath the surface; vocalist Malo Byron Jones sings with a soul, passion and skill largely unheard of in rock vocalists today. His poetic lyrics recall those of Jim Morrison. Caribbean rythms are subtly infused in the mix via the engine room of bass and drums. Guitarist Clint Quintal mixes U2 theatrics with classical flamenco style sophistication. The result is a unique sound that is near impossible to categorize. The Spaniards music does reverberate powerfully revealing a fascination with Nature and Love. |
