Artist History For most of 16 years I have played guitar. Classical guitar was my focus for about eight years and have put my efforts into an electric instrument (pictured on the left). I have been in bands in high school and have put together and recorded tens of jams over the past decade. Throughout primary and middle school I played trombone and tuba and elected to play the upright double bass for my college wind ensemble. After hiking the Appalachian Trail I played in a psychedelic rock cover band out of Columbia, SC--commuting 4 hours each Saturday for a few weekends a month--just to dissolve the project later because no one was communicating and it lacked direction. Shortly thereafter I made aquaintances with whom I played and recorded over 6 months, ultimately playing a single gig as the group "Escape," 23 September 2001. With a passion for playing live, the ways and means to make it happen here, the next ingredient for a good product is superior labor. Could it be you, or perhaps you know someone with whom I should be in contact? I've walked 2,167 miles in 6 months, completed a BS and MS in chemistry and tend to accomplish things. An Eagle scout at 14 and an avid backpacker, my favorite thing to do is to play music for others. My current challenge is finding long term band mates.
