Spring 2000 Picked up turntable 1: Stanton STR8-60, Mixer 1: Next! Century 3 channel
Summer 2000 Picked up turntable 2: Vestax PDX-A1S. Mixer's crossfader starts bleeding.
Fall 2000 Bought many hip hop records for party mixing. Also bought scratch records. Posted first four scratch files.
Winter 2000 Bought many dance records for party mixing. Also bought breaks. Did not post scratch files.
Spring 2001 First amateur battles. Met various bay area DJs, but did not place.
Summer 2001 Mixer 2: Stanton SK-6 w/o focus fader. Scratches came easier and cleaner.
Fall 2001 DJ'ed various parties. Kept scratching. Now into a lot of music hip hop to jazz to electronica
Spring 2002 Renewed posts to mp3.com site. Skills improve, but artistic style still unknown. |
