Artist description Audi (Austin Ward) has blended an array of musical styles and his own ingenuity to form anextremely distinctive type of music. Utilizing guitar, his primary instrument, bass, drums,keyboards and computer generated electronic effects he’s compiled a collection of originalmaterial that combines rich acoustic guitars, hopping basslines, soulful electric guitars and fullelectronic textures of all types. Some of the main influences include Beck, Velvet Underground,G. Love and the Special Sauce, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Jimmy Hendrix.

Artist History Audi now 22 started playing guitar at the age of 13 and began to collect instruments of alldifferent types as well as other musicians. Although at first blues was the only interest of Audihe began to develop a style of his own based upon the idea that all music is good music. Withthis no boundaries approach he began to write music based heavily on funk rhythm guitar andstarted recording on a four track assembling all parts himself. Simultaneously, he began to playlead guitar and write for a five piece band titled “Plan B” whom played throughout theKalamazoo / Grand Rapids area in Michigan. Unfortunately the band broke up about eightmonths later. However, within the next 3 months Audi created “Stereoleo” his first album. Currently he’s working on his second project album and fronting a band titled “One FootWider,” a three piece, with a large fan base. One Foot Wider will hopefully doing recordings aswell in the near future.
