Artist History
1997: Edgar is in Delaware bumming and being a loser when his grand father suggests joining the Air Force. In that same year Patrick is in the Marines doing the standard jar head thing...Also in that same year Edgar gets thrown into California by the Air Force...Patrick is thrown into San Diego...they meet up through several strange events...Edgar has a guitar and urges Patrick through out several drinking binges that "We need to start a band!"Being that Patrick played the drums and Edgar fiddles on the guitar...a band seemed inevitable.With the aid of alcohol, three-hundred dollars and similar musical backgrounds various tapes came into existenz.There was no bass at first but, with Patrick's friends "D" and Lord filling in on it from time to time...It was quickly remedied. Now that "D" has vanished into a realm of multi-personalized women and soon to be marriage...and Lord finding his way into a prison cell...Edgar was forced to take on the bass sound.So, armed with only a guitar, bass and drums...Edgar and Patrick forged ahead to create "Abyssinal" (a word which takes on several meanings from describing the bands sound...to club kids describing their intoxication)2001: A sound odyessy has been created...enjoy...and thank you for your time in this...our hour of crisis... |
