Artist description
We freestyle rap. It's fun, you should try it. We also write stuff, on occasion, and that's fun too. Don't care how we do it as long as we rappin'. Occasionally, you'll hear somethin' on one of our tracks that's from another artist. If so, more power to 'em. And if you listen to us long enough, you'll discover a shocking fact--we're white. |

Artist History
We don't really have one. The idea for starting the Mofo Family was created by two of its members while in German II class. (Like we have anything better to do in German II). DJ Phil tha Giant started out as a solo artist named Ashura X, and still goes by that name pretty much everywhere else on the net. kmck, Krazy K, and C-dub have been rapping informally for years around home, just freestylin' whenever the mood hits 'em. Brought together by me (DJ Phil tha Giant) and introduced to mp3.com, we don't know if we'll make it big--we just wanna make a CD and some mp3z, and get our music out in the open. |

Instruments
Just listen carefully. You'll hear a few. DJ Phil is fond of using a synth for the intros and junk. We also use tape recorders and as soon as we figure out how to get from a tape to a wav, we'll have some killer skits taken directly from real life. This is the ultimate live recording!! |

Albums
We don't have one yet, but we will soon--"The Mofo Family: We All Up In Ya Grill". |
