One of Atlanta’s favorite bands, the Flinch, are on the forefront of what modern rock should sound like. They dare tread where others eventually follow them. Their tremendous, high-energy stage shows only come second to the tasteful hooks in their songs. The Flinch - Clever Songs from a Band That Rocks
The Flinch is a four-piece outfit from Atlanta who perform an edgy, melodic strain of Rock complete with New Wave panache and old school volume.
The band who celebrates its fifth anniversary this Spring, consists of vocalist-guitarist Hannibal Heredia, guitarist Theodore Lee, bassist P. Mims Rogers and drummer John Heredia.
They were originally known locally as Atticus Flinch before signing to Centennial Records in 1996. With two acclaimed albums to their credit, the Flinch are shopping for a new label while preparing for their third record. The band’s affection for smart, energetic rock and roll hearkens back to singer Hannibal Heredia and his brother John’s experiences in college bands in Auburn during the late ‘80s. |
