Artist description
Straightforward, unapologetic, singular. Recorded, many-textured yet straight to the point, rich, varied, the tapestry of life. On stage, like a GTO painted by Goya. Fine art with a Joe Louis Punch. |

Artist History
The album was recorded by friends and family; long connections with the Toronto Music Scene (such as it is) from decades gone by allowed us to wheedle and cajole some of its finest players for quick 3- and 4-hour sessions. Sometimes we just let a drummer jam to a DAT of the demo, then built the tracks later. You name it, we did it, except spend money.
Once the CD was done, it became time to make it happen on stage. John Whynot, producer and general engine-behind-the-scenes, met Joe Travers the drummer and basically raided his phone book.
The result is one of the finest rock ensembles anywhere; even nascent gigs at tiny venues bespeak of the enormity to come. Currently choosing a real coming-out venue in LA and preparing a big upgrade to the show. Also more recording in the near future, this time with all band members present! |
