Artist description
A band with lyrical content rooted deep in today's political & social world disturbances - NOT! 4 guys who write music about anything and have a good time doing it, be it a song about relationships like "R U My Lover Or R U Just A Corpse?" or showing respect for civil services like "911...Please Hold". |

Deep rooted from south Florida since 1986, the TABLETOPS have evolved over time and have managed to stay true to their metal roots. Mixing styles together from Anthrax, S.O.D., Pro-Pain, M.O.D. and Weird Al Yankovic to give everyone a strange taste of metal madness. |

Press Reviews
FOCUS Magazine issue #143. "When She Sits Around The House She Really Sits Around The House"(7 track CDR, recorded at Panda Productions, recorded and mixed by George Harris, Walter (guitar), John (vocals), Craig (vocals), Drummer Mike (drums), Bob (bass), Brian Ward (guitar), 34:16) Although the PA system gets a little crowded among these guys (with John and Craig sharing the shout duties, and whoever else stumbles on stage), the solid, thick crust from the rest of the band sets up those irreverent raps (like "R U My Lover Or R U Just A Corpse?"). With such a fun-lovin' (and beer-lovin') agenda, most metal minds might not take them seriously. Yet, these guys churn along with the best of the gloomers and black arts practitioners with chunky tracks like "Missing Out" and "Genital Kick". AS you'd imagine, there are moments when it's more fun to be in the band, than to listen to them, but at least they sound honest (not from some producer-driven project). By the way, who gets this black and tan? |
