    Artist History
In 1958, Cerebral Laboratories (based in the Netherlands, a complex devoted to the highest forms of science) discovered an inter- dimensional riff in our own matter frame. After numerous studies and tests, only television and radio waves could pass through the dimensional "portal". In hopes of contacting an alter-lifeform between 1958-64 Cerebral Laboratories inundated the "portal" with all of Earth's knowledge at that time, converting it into electromagnetic waves. With no success and a lack of funding the project was shelved and communications were cut. In 1994 though, the abandoned equipment mysteriously engaged independently. With the scientists unfamiliar with the laboratorical machinery, they frantically tried to shut it down. But with a flash of light and a force that warped all matter in the room in vertigo, a being emerged. This lifeform came to be known as *Sparkplug*. An omnipotent conqueror from another dimension, armed with a formula that would bring all to his submission. This formula was an adaptation of surf music that has incredible mind controlling power. With this power he could pursue his dastardly deed: DOMINATION OF THE MAGNACOSMOS!! He decided to take on more lifeforms to help him with his plan. It proved to be that humans were too feeble to carry out the rigorous responsibilities of universal domination. Many humans were deleted, either by accident or intentionally. Rhythmical appropriation and time coordination was the hardest spot to fill. Finally *Sparkplug*, with a vast amount of knowledge in quantum mechanics and atomic physics, decided to create an artificial animated being. Using a prime ingredient of yellow die #5, known for hyperactivity, the concoction produced the lifeform which has been appropriately named Yellow-5. This formulated individual produces heavy sonic blasts from his echo kit that not only keeps time structure but rattles the snapses of earthling people allowing the melodic frequencies to fill the cortex. One human was left in the infrastructure of the SumpPump monkeys. His function was to provide low end frequencies to round out the hypnotic sound. But in a freak accident his humanoid body was fragmented into subatomic particles and his matter was transported to an unrecorded planet where (coincidentally) Cerebral laboratories had been creating a race of symbiotic lifeforms. His matter patterns then melded with the "test-tube" aliens and began stages of symbiosis. After culminating into full maturity *Sparkplug* went and retrieved the first symbiotic fusion. His name came to be Subflux: Origin of the symbiotes, Symbiote #1. With his function of blasting sub-sonic frequencies and an infinite number of symbiotic personalities, of which he can call upon anytime, he has proved to be the final aspect in the power trio that you will soon call your masters. With a full arsenal of various types of media and live performances their plans WILL come to fruition. Now on their quest as Dominators of the Magnacosmos, be prepared puny earth people, for the sonic thrashing that will be exerted upon you. But we are really nice guys nonetheless.

MP3.com artist reivews:'Great ideas and fresh sound' - Alfio, Happening'I felt good, so it must BE good' - Marija. PlatOs Halo'I don't particularly like instrumental music, but this is an exception (Kamikaze Plunge). I don't even surf and it makes me wanna go grab a board & hit the waves',- Allusion'I've never really given surf a listen before. You provide a superb introduction to it.' - Del, Sugarwood Cleveland Scene Magazine (Review of DEBUT CD Release, "Destroy The Waves"):"...The band's latest, Destroy the Waves!, is a blend of Dick Dale's fretboard voodoo and a Man or Astro-Man?-esque infatuation with weird science....the burly, lunch-money-swiping "Tractor Beam" and knuckle-dusting "Electronic Formation of a Crouton" make the Monkeys' Russell Crowe-rivaling manliness evident....elsewhere, the burping bass and percolating electronics of "An Amphipod's Bioluminescence" makes it ideal for an episode of Dr. Who, while the sweltering, Reverend Horton Heat-indebted "Riptide" is perfect for a hot summer day spent lounging in the yard. Right next to the pink flamingos."
