Artist History
Guitarists and songwriters Kim O'Connell and Laura Maher formed Sinde Kise as a side project in 1996 when their band, Kise, was on hiatus after touring with The Meatpuppets. Soon, this side project turned into their main focus when Sharon Jaffess joined them on drums. Collaborating, gigging, and recording with local musicians Carolyn Ross and Vince Grogan, Sinde Kise became a local favorite. Alicia Kominsky, formerly of the London Underground and Allied Swirl, joined on in 1999. Laura Maher still collaborates with the band, but she's currently touring with Rockwoman. |
