Artist History
Rob Darke started out in music by forming (and fronting) the punk band Violent World. Despite a growing following, Rob disbanded the group in 1993.
After a brief, regrettable time spent in a Rush cover band (???), Rob met up with the band Irony. Rob was the bass player for Irony from 1994-end. Rob still manages the recordings, memorabilia (one helluva jam-packed storage unit), merchandising, etc of Irony.
Near the end of Irony, Rob became frustrated with the band's style of music. It was around this time that Rob began experimenting with more electronic elements.
Rob recorded the album "Lessons Learned" in 1999 under the name "Chaotic Discourse." Rob continues to tweak the master recordings of the album, as he is still not satisfied with it.
Afterwards, Rob hooked up with Brian Wilkes (ex-Irony guitarist), and created "The Blue Room," which released "Decay of Hope" in 2000.
Rob is still working on his second "solo" album. Unfortunately, there's no estimated time of completion. Rob also plays guitar for the band Phono, and occasionally fills in on bass for the band OverRIDE. |
