Artist description
For the last 3 years, NEW YORK CITY's Paul Ruderman Band has been packing the finest clubs in the Big Apple, including THE BOWERY BALLROOM, THE BOTTOM LINE, MERCURY LOUNGE and FEZ. Paul's lyrical ingenuity, combined with the band's groove-oriented musical pocket, creates an infectious, original sound which defies categorization........ Dan Acquilante, The NEW YORK POST's top music critic, recently wrote: "There are a million bands from Skyscraper Park, and occasionally one of them gets a major record deal, makes zillions and lives happily ever after. At least until their sophomore album. Fame hasn't hit the Paul Ruderman Band yet, but the debut disc 'The October Recordings' offers outstanding original material, capturing a young musician who is on the brink of greatness - or rather has greatness that nobody seems to know about yet." |
