    Artist description
MOODSTACK draws from musical styles of the last three decades to create its unique sound. A powerful rhythm section, distorted and acoustic guitars, and Sucre?s melodic vocals combine to form a heady brew of hard edged, groove oriented rock. MOODSTACK?s sound is characterized by its melding of extremes -- at once tough and delicate, tight and chaotic, frenzied and melodic.

    Artist History
High school friends, Paul Demil and Adam Lee, began crafting the MOODSTACK sound several years ago in Demil's grandmother's garage. Demil's powerful drumming and Lee's adept guitar playing fused an original mix of funky, instrumental rock. In 1996 Lee met vocalist, Fernando Sucre at a San Francisco nightclub where they quickly struck up a passionate conversation about music. The next day Demil, Lee and Sucre found themselves in Sucre's living room trading ideas and riffs. The trio secured a rehearsal studio and started writing music immediately, combining the fresh influence of Sucre and the tense, yet fluid musicality culled by Lee and Demil. Though the initial chemistry was unmistakable, it was incomplete until bassist Jerris Mungai joined the band in early 1997.MOODSTACK's 1999 debut release "Weep" on NMX Records best showcases their music. The band has taken the high energy from their live performances and successfully transferred it to this recording. They have four tracks featured on the EA Sports? NCAA March Madness? '99 video game -- joining the ranks of other major artists, such as SOUNDGARDEN, STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN and SUGAR RAY, who also hold the honor of being included on EA Sports? soundtracks.
