Artist History mein freunt der baum, which translates into my friend the tree, was founded in 1991. after searching for a band name for several hours, we heard this popular german song from alexandra and took it for our name (hint for german users: the false typo of friend is intended). The band is based in Cologne, Germany and went through several line-up-changes since its founding. We started playing punk, but developed into a more modest style recently. At the moment we are in intensive studioworx for our forthcomig mariposas album, which we expect to release around december this year. as soon as we get new songs ready, they are ging to be placed on Mp3.com.
