Artist History Kalos is a flamboyant expression of glitter and light, spiraling rhythms and melodies of sensuality and passion on the stage. It is music with a raw sense of mystery, sexuality and glamour about it. Kalos has not forgotten the allure of the theater, combining a bombastic pop sound with the energy of a runway fashion show. Moving with the current of contemporary artists such as Suede, Placebo, Radiohead and Pulp, there is a freshness and a human honesty in the music. Mostly autobiographical, the songs describe relationships, sex and sensuality - the pains and delights of their experience. Baritone and falsetto, driving bass and percussion, and swirling yet piercing guitar - Kalos pulls you into its drama of passion and play, visually dazzling you with its beauty.

Press Reviews "Kalos plays heartfelt, Brit-pop influenced glitter rock. There's an admitted Suede influence here and the production is very clean. What really stands out is the attitude and style the lyrics portray and the emotion that comes across to the listener: Songs about relationships, that have a cynical/ optimistic romanticism. Something I definitely dig. I've seen them play about four times, and in addition to being good musicians, they do a great job at portraying their image of being glamorous and sexy. ~ darkpassions magazine.
