Artist History
A Minneapolis native, Jim Fuller released two pop solo albums for Fulltone Records in the late seventies, "Sweet Lemons from the Limelight" and "Greatness is Hard to Hide". In 1980, while recording his third album "Goodbye to Duluth", Fuller suddenly put his solo career on hold to join the Liars, a quartet spawned from the same power pop pool as the Replacements and Husker Du. When the Liars disbanded in 1990, Fulltone released the Liars' box set "Romance Music". After a brief hiatus in Nepal, Fuller released his third solo album "Surprisingly Together" in late 1996 to rave reviews. In 1998, Fulltone released "Loose Pages", a compilation of unreleased tracks including several songs from "Goodbye to Duluth". Fuller is currently hard at work on his fifth album, "Today". |
