Artist description "Several of the musically inclined members of the IDM mailing list get together to remix each others tracks. The 'chain' works like old childhood games like telegram and chinese whispers. The first artist does a track, passes the relevent samples, etc. on to the next member in the chain, who passes his track on to the next, and so on, until it works it's way back to the original artist. The twist is that none of the artists involved can hear any of the other remixes (except the one he is remixing), until the project is complete. This gives each remix a unique style, while interperting similar material. Pacman's funky electro ditty, '10 by 26', was chosen as the starting point.
