Artist History Post-urban homesteaders, living & learning on the land, we make music from our experiences here, influenced by this amazing, alive, wild and wanton world we live in . We play with and for our friends and community - we inspire one another! There are so many creative people where we live, and the times we live in demand poetry, music & dance- we have great inspirationto keep us moving. We started out by backing up our local dance group, then found we loved playing with one another; we still do. We play for the voices of the land &the life that lives upon it. Music keeps our spirit free and our body loose, it's what we need to keep us lively.....Ghost Trout has two albums available, the first is on cassette, the second is available on CD and cassette. Our Name? Wild trout are disappearing; and like the canaries in mines that warned miners of danger, the health of trout species tells us about the conditions of the watersheds on our planet. The trout image, one of many, swims in the river of our subconscious, calling to us with the universal language of music.
