Artist description This band played many gigs in England from 1984-1987. Many thought this band years a head of its time. The Great tranquilizer was recorded live in August 1986.The bands live set was a mix of rock and reggae, blues and jazz. Out side Newbury, Reading & London the band was unknown, but locally a well missed band.

Artist History The members of this band, formed in 1984, have maintained a life with in music. They include Chives the main song writer and guitarist. Steve Swann (Dub Warriors) Richerd Paterson (Dub Warriors) Marcus Webb (free lance drummer) Lynn Forte (Dub the Earth) The band played mainly in the Reading area mainly small to medium venues. But what Gigs!!!. The Great Tranquilzer, was the bands last set,played in 1998. With the last line up. The gig was going to be released at the time but was put off and off until the band split in 1987. The master tape was lost or recorded over. Now Earth sounds music have cleaned up a two track copy of this great set.
