Artist History
Gary Guida founded The Blue Monday Blues Band in December of 1994 and hasn’t looked back since. Standing 6’6” and fronting the band as lead singer and harmonica player, Gary continues to develop his own sound despite the demands of a full-time job, marriage, children, four cats and a dog.
Bassist Scott McKinney a.k.a. “The Florida Outlaw” and “Mr. Smooth” began his career touring central Florida in the ‘70’s playing country rock. Since migrating north, he has worked steadily with numerous bands playing all styles of music from country to motown soul to R&B, and blues.
Roger Gorey is one of the few blues drummer/vocalists in the tri-state area who sings and plays with passion and depth that can only come from really feeling the blues. He has backed numerous groups on stage and in recording studios, and has run jam sessions in various clubs in the area.
Chris Carusos, guitarist and vocalist, plays ground shaking, heart pounding solos and sweet down home blues with masterful precision and soul. While playing in some of the areas top bands, Chris has opened for Leslie West and Mountain, Steppenwolf, Rick Deringer and had the opportunity to play back up guitar with Johnny Winter.
