Artist History
Before evolving into the wildly theatrical, five-person rock band that they are today,
BETTY began in 1987 as an edgy a cappella/spoken word/minimalist trio. Friends
since an unfortunate incarceration, Elizabeth Ziff (vocals, guitar), Alyson Palmer
(vocals, bass) and Amy Ziff (vocals, cello) are the songwriters and arrangers, while Tony Salvatore (lead guitar) and Keith Carlock (drums) complete the band.
BETTY met and became fierce activists in Our Nation's Capital.
The group is based currently in downtown Manhattan, USA.
