Artist History
Once upon a time in mid 2000, four boys with a love of drinking, girls and the Back To The Future trilogy decided it was time for another cock-rock band to join the local scene. When we realised that our collective musical talents didn't match the magnificence of our permed mullets we ditched our Def Leppard vinyl and decided to have a go at what we originally wanted to do and play punk rock. With a vast collection of new school style punk records between us we managed to write some songs and record them on a 4-track tape mixer. The result was 'A Good Year for Farming' which we sometimes sold or handed out at shows. A total of 12 songs were recorded and one of which is on mp3.com. We also recorded 3 songs at our mate's house. 2 of which are on mp3.com and also on a split cd with Reason 69 (Milliepeed Records). The third track 'STFU' (probably the strongest) isn't up as it contains a sample (shame). In June 2002 the Peckerheads EP came out on 20 deck records. The opening track is available on mp3.com. Having completed UK tours with South African band Leek and the Bouncing Uptones, Skirtbox and our own headlining tour we don't want to stop playing. We've also had our music played on Radio 1 (the UK's national radio station). If you're a label who wants us for a comp or a zine who wants to interview us (or slate us) then don't hesitate to get in contact. Cheers! |
