Artist description Ernie E. Ellefson is a melodic hard rock guitarist / multi-instrumentalist. Ernie's main instrument is the guitar, but also on this CD plays all of the instruments, including vocals. He programs the drum tracks. Ernie's style of music, ranges from hard driving instrumental rock, all the way to teary eyed love ballads, which will be available soon on MP3.com.

Artist History Ernie has been playing since the age of 4. ( almost 5 ) He is self taught, learning from books, and by ear. He joined his first real band at the age of 15. All of the other members were in their upper 20's and 30's. After that, he trained himself in music theory and ear training, working on practically every style of music. But his true love was Rock and Roll. He was described by the owner of a local music store as being a "flash" guitar player. Ernie started teaching locally, at the age of 15, teaching many of the area professionals. In the 80's he had opened up for many such headliners as Billy Preston, Badfinger, and into the 90's sharing the stage with Vinnie Moore, Firehouse, and Warrant, just to name a few. At this point in his career, along with the advances in technology, he prefers to stay in his home recording studio, working strictly on his own music. He still teaches a handful of students, letting them know that copying other great guitarists is a great way to improve your playing, but you still need to develope your own style, which is very apparent in his playing.
