Artist description DEITER INC is a new sexy punk band from the south shore of Montreal (Quebec). Not only their music is enriched with funky beats, but also with 2 different lead singers which make their songs different from one another. Their melodic attributes mixed with their hardcore influences makes their music accessible to anybody, even YOU!

Artist History Formed in the winter of 1998, the band formerly called "INC" played covers as a basement band until the summer of 1999 where it decided to retire their former guitarist Antoine and take in Jay. With his guitar abilities and songwriting skills, Jay brought a new attitude to the band, which changed it's name to Deiter inc. The recording of a first demo tape was done in the winter of 1999, and the band quickly evolved into something new. The first demo, called Meow, included hits such as Don't Go Away (version. 1.0), Ex, Betrayed, and Not Like U, and was released on U Know my Shit Records along with a live show at Petit Cafe Campus. The band was interviewed at CISM 89.3 FM, where songs from the demo were played. The band stepped into the studio in Winter 2001 to record the product which is known as the "New Sexy Punk" EP. In November 2001, Mike was forced to quit the band, and from that time Deiter inc is a trio. The band now has great plans for the future, and we hope to play as much as possible, wherever and whenever we can. Rock on!
