Artist History The PACIFICS have established their name among Chicago's tight-knit hip hop scene, with past performances that include "Unsigned Hype" shows, alongside Philly's Mountain Brothers, and opening for DJ Q-bert of the Invisible Skratch Piklz, as well as the Triple Threat DJ Tour (Shortkut, Vin Roc and Apollo) at the House of Blues. Most recently, PACIFICS performed at the Chicago Finals of the DMC 2000. While making stops at various hip hop radio shows in Chicago, PACIFICS has also appeared in Velocity Magazine, URB and Illinois Entertainer. Representing the city from where they come, PACIFICS are part of the Chicago-based hip hop collectives: Propaganda Movement, Wind Chill Factors and ChicagoHipHop.com.Currently, PACIFICS has been performing shows across the country with panAsian spoken word group, I Was Born With Two Tongues (www.2tongues.com) for the Yellow Technicolor 2000 Tour. Recent performances have taken place in NJ, NY, Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco, and Detroit. PACIFICS is in the midst of recording their LP, and hope to have it completed by the spring.
