Artist History Misconception was formed because all of us wanted to be in a band that was going to function and work toward creating honest music. The band formed in January of 2001 with no drummer, we played several local shows and released a cd locally. In August of 01, Mark Brouhard joined as drummer to complete the line up. In October 2002, Tyson Bottorff joined on as a 3rd guitarist/ocassional keyboardist to accent the sound. We have recorded several demos, most of which are available for download here. The latest, completed in September 2002, is some of the bets work work we've ever done, despite the fact that we have no idea what we are doing in a recording studio. Mabye someday we'll learn, but who knows? We hope to someday (soon hopefully) sign with a nice label and rock.
