Artist History
After her career as a classical flutist Luna played saxophone, keyboards and flute in different bands.Since then she has been performing live in Europe, Australia and India with Musicians from all over the world. In the early eighties Luna`s musical style was quite experimental and avantgarde. She sang and played in the german new-wave band "Sender X" and mixed their first album "Die Zukunft wird schön" together with Rio Reiser. Since 1985, inspired by several travels through India as well as meditation experiences Luna composes and produces New Age Music, released three albums as LUNA as well as backgroundmusic for therapeutical purposes. She also recorded three classical-electronic productions (Classic Fantasie and Classic for Love) and contributed her versatile flute-playing on many new-age albums. Recently Luna recorded a blend of hypnothic trip-hop/space music which can soon be heard on mp3.com. Her latest production "which is not mine but came through me" is her little son, "the sun, the moon and the stars in my life". |
