Artist description
Kid Icarus is a recording project that hails from the backwoods of Northeastern Pennsylvania and has recently acquired national attention with thier contribution to Summersteps Record's CD "Naked In fternoon - A Tribute To Jandek". The track was called "etheral and pretty" in No Depression and Aquarius Records called the track "brilliant". Kid Icarus' current CD 1999's "Maps of the Saints" is a mesmerising blend of guitar, harmonica, and voice. The album is a platter interspliced with ghostly instrumentals and rave-up rockers. Kid Icarus is a band that's music is as beautiful and diverse as it is moving and confounding. |
