Artist description We first met in 1998 in London. Fate dealt us a good card for we were both at turning points in our lives and were able to help each other concentrate on that which is good and constant, the music.Viktor had just arrived in London having previously spent 4 years living, studying and performing in Haarlem, Holland. He is brilliant, versatile guitarist and prolific composer from Macedonia. Before the Former Yugoslavia broke up, he had a successful recording and touring band, “Super Nova”. John had recently established himself as a piano/vocalist in London having spent several years working on cruise lines. Together we were able to work on our own material and influence each other in different positive ways: Viktor introduced “Cubase” and some basic recording skills on PC to John, who encouraged Viktor to settle in London and set up a recording studio. We maintained separate web-sites for our own music but on JOVI we have collaborated on the both the writing and recording process. We hope the tracks highlight our enjoyment of playing and a little of our temperament; music does reflect one’s attitude to life in general and the tunes we make are small pictures drawn from our experience. Life itself, the reality of it, is very rich and rewarding and music is fundamental to that. We enjoyed making these recordings, hope they bring some pleasure in your life.
