Artist History
Formed in spring 2000 by guitarist Velasquez and bassist Shearer. Vocalist Waynick and drummer Freeborn were drafted having never played in a band before. The four rehearsed and wrote songs aggressively throughout the summer and booked themselves in clubs all over Atlanta starting in late September. By early 2001, they had earned positive write-ups in major city music publications, headlined shows at respected venues, and could be heard in regular rotation on college radio (both in Atlanta and Athens). B2 P recorded their first full-length CD "Upstairs Tiger" and released it independently in February of 2002.b |
