Artist description
Our music has variety. We sing country songs, rock songs, folk songs and Zildo Ildo Songs. Our lyrics are about our problems, which include such topics as self-alienation, Alcohol, social autism, and being sane and alive and other peoples' problems: television, fashion, talking, believing, and fighting. We have a space-faring cowboy, an alien dream song, the last barber on Earth, lonely robots, Hemingway and fish. |

Artist History
Zildo Ildo was discovered outside of space and time by Christopher Eckart and Chad Ingles. It is a collective community of artists who write and play music and create other things. They are all friends. There are only 2 criteria for membership - love of music and friendship. We are based in Hamilton, Ontario but we have had members in Vancouver, Ottawa and Halifax.Chris and Chad have been writing, performing and recording songs together for over 7 years, with the help of their friends. Everything, even the saddest thing, is funny. We've got a lot of whims but we've got no will. We love fish and Zildo Ildo often goes on fishing trips led by Christopher.Zildo Ildo recorded sporadically over their approximately 1.5-year life span. Like the mayfly that lives only long enough to mate, Zildo Ildo self-destructed leaving behind only 14 known recorded tracks. These songs have been known to follow erratic migratory patterns around the country relying mainly on the jet stream and the occasional bird to distribute them. |
