Artist description
It's a one man band. I do everything myself. My musical styleis constantly changing. One minute I'll do something really hardsounding, the next I'm making some weird floaty type music. Most of the music just kinda of evolves as I work on it, usuallyturning into something completely different from my original idea.I aspire to have the same type of production values that NIN's music has, but my equipment is pretty meager. I work with what I have though. |

Artist History
It all started off as a joke. I had to create a website for a bandin one of my graphics design classes. I came up with the name "monkey machine"because I thought it sounded funny. I got ahold of some audio software andstarted making my own music. I made about 3 cds under this name. Then I changed itto "Lemur" and only made one cd under that name. Now it's "the wretched device."I've got some better equipment now, also. Haven't met anybody that hates my musicyet, which is a good thing, but I definitely think it's not for everyone. It is ratherstrange after all. |
