Artist History
The Ruminants are currently composed of Rob, 23, on vocals and guitar,
Dan, 21, on bass and vocals, and Darryl, 24, on drums. This lineup
formed in April 2001 and they began playing shows immediately
afterwards. The Ruminants previously existed as The Rob Ruminants,
thus the name printed on their first CD, "Eight Arms to Rock You." The Rob
Ruminants moniker was used by Rob as a name by which to release the
CD before putting the band together. Rob and Dan previously played
together in the local band Tic, and Darryl has played in locals GFI
and 20/20 Blind. Since forming, the group worked quickly to put together
a new 16-song CD entitled "Hercules" which was released in October 2001. |
