Artist History
This history stretches back to January 1999 when the name was "The Claustrophobic Nutz"(TCN) The original line up was Chris K., Mike H, Rob V, Larry B, and Anthony C. The original band plan was for Chris K. to just be a lead singer, but then the bassist Mike H. left to pursue his own course of music with Mindstain and so here Chris K is with the bass in his hands. Then Rob V. and Anthony C.left to form the basement crew and they took in Steve C.and Chris B. and T.C.N became Stray *76 Then Chris B. left and stray became a 3 piece for about 2 months. They decided we like four pieces alot better, so they got the hideously talented Mike H. to play bass again and Chris K played guitar. Then for reasons unexplained, Mike H. got the boot. and once again Chris K. was left with a bass in his hands and after a few months, they got Pat S. from Brooklyn, NY to play guitar, and there they were for a while., ChrisK, Larry B, Steve C and Pat S. but due to conflicts and band problems Drummer Larry B. quit after 3 years plus with the band, a month or so went by and they got this kid Mike C. who also hails from Brooklyn, NY to drum for them. After close to 10 months w/ Stray 76 Mike C. and s7s mutually departed ways. The New Drummer of Stray 76 is the old drummer of Stray 76. Larry Bamundo is back behind the kit for what looks promising to be the best Stray 76 line up ever(again).
and here they are now Chris King, Steve Cipriano, Pat Saccenti, and Larry Bamundo. Since 1999 Stray 76 has had the chance to play with bands such as Lounge, Bigwig, Against All Authority, Most Precious Blood, Shutdown, Taking Back Sunday, Canderia, 40 Below Summer, One True Thing, The Goodwill, Breaking Pangaea, Atreyu, Eighteen Visions, Lamb of God, Chimaira, Nerf Herder, The Reunion Show, The Early November, Fall Out Boy, Hidden In Plainview, Inhuman, Friendly Fire, At A Loss, Your Day Strong, Dreams Forever Drowning, 5 Cent Deposit and much more.(full list ready upon request.)

Press Reviews
"Stray '76 is an unsigned band from Staten Island, Ny. Watch outfor them, they're gonna be huge." -Punkbands.com { } { } { } { } { } { } "Staten Island’s own Stray 76 is back with 4 new songs and an old favorite off of the EP “Bring in the Noise, Bring in the Punk”. These five songs were recorded live at the Electric Plant, but don’t worry because the sound is great. Plus, this record is available for only $1, so you’ll be ok. Their original sound is best captured live- emotional, driven, pensive and melancholy punk rock. For any fans of punk this is worth checking out. Standout tracks include “Indecision 2000”, “Maturity” and “Got You Nothing”. Look out for Stray on their way up.
