Artist History Since founding their ministry in early 1997, singer/songwriter Mark E. Ellis and signer Sonya D. Ellis have ministered in churches coffeehouses and schools all over the East Coast. Group Members Singer/songwriter Mark E. Ellis began playing piano at age 6 and began his profession career as a teen in the late 1960s. Influenced in his early years by the likes of James Taylor, Carole King and Simon & Garfunkel, he developed a individual style that mixes pop, folk and country elements.Sonya Ellis began signing in 1995 and has developed a fluidity in her style that is both beautiful and worshipful.
