Artist description
The band is made up of guys from atop the Minneapolis scene. Lead singer Dave Larsen and keyboardist Brad Armstrong are the core writers of the group. MMA award-winning producer Ylvis3 lends his guitar talents as well as his creative vision. Ylvis3 was also part of media favorites 'Detroit' and the Minneapolis super group 'Greazy Meal'. For bass, Elephants Gerald looked to the new hotbed of talent in America, Fargo, North Dakota. Bassist Al Bergstrom, who also performs with Rhythm Jones, is from the same pool that produced both Johnny Lang and Shannon Curfman. Drummer Ron Caron, who most recently has been playing with Insight Galactic artist Joylab, joined Elephants shortly after ending his 3 year stint with national recording artist Tina and the B-Sides. |

Music Style
The music leaves you with a familiar feeling in a place you've never been, traveling from 70's rock into 80's pop and landing somewhere yet to be defined. If you're looking for a word to describe it, try "Popadelic". |

Artist History
The current Elephants Gerald line-up came together sometime after the release of the album, which was originally done as a 3 piece and completed by Dave Larsen, Ylvis3 and Brad Armstrong as a studio project. After early interest in the album, they decided it was time to bring Elephants back to life. "We really just got together because we thought we had a good chemistry as writers and because we just liked hanging out together." |
