Artist History
When C.J. Harper and Mark Bannister first jammed they knew they could form a great sounding band. Matt Edmonds soon completed the trio. The band “clicked” and they started writing a lot of great original songs and working on their stage act. Since then they've performed at benefit concerts, recorded a full length CD, had airplay on major Ottawa rock stations and done interviews on radio and TV. They've played in most of the clubs in Ottawa including The Whipping Post, ClimaX, Bumpers Roadhouse, The Underground, Babylon Club, and Zaphod Beeblevrox, and the famous Barrymore's Music Hall. Throughout 2002 and 2003 the band has been working on a 5 song EP that's almost set for release. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, DisconneX has decided to call Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada its new home. |

...an eclectic mix of rock, punk, and experimental sounds, but still tight, driven, and poppy”, and having a “wonderfully original sound… (with) loads of energy”.Nepean Showcase Audition Judges" Orleans alternative rock band makes waves on Ottawa club scene."Weekly East Journal"
The Barrymore's Show with Stumble, R-Kade and DisconneX was awesome!!! Dispite being in one of the vehicles involved in a major pile-up on the Queensway, DisconneX regrouped and still made it on time for the show. Andy (the sound man) at Barrymore's did a great job of sound checking us on the fly...Kudos. R-Kade was great, and Stumble's show was amazing!!! DisconneX was glad to be a part of another great fat dog Productions show at Ottawa's premiere live entertainment club. Chad...you're the man!!!
