Press Reviews
(mp3.com/a_star) "Fax Me" uses a great range of effects, over a steady beat. Very experimental. "Maniac" has a very strong start, guitar strums, which leads into a drum and bass back track. Again, good use of synth effects, a strong track.
(Styrofonics)"Fax Me" has a great acidized bass line that's hypnotic and engaging - then a great drum fill leads into a fantastic beat that makes you want to bust
out the cardboard and try out all those old breakdance moves - a very cool track that could maybe use a key change midway to break up the monotony -
but it is short enough that it doesn't bore you. "Tell Em" starts with a very funky guitar riff reminiscent of the Chicago
Blues - this bit is nicely complimented by a shuffling hi-hat beat and some
wicked turntabilism... the only thing missing from this track is a phatter
bass line and a nice breakdown in the middle - a keychange wouldn't hurt
either... still a very block-rockin' track! nice work!
