Artist description
Some people call it Roots Rock, some say it’s Americana, still others insist it’s Alternative Country. While critics try to peg them to a single category, the guys of Cast Iron Filter sidestep the debate to do what they do best – play music for people who care to listen. By blending together elements of rock, bluegrass, country, and folk, the lyric and sound of Cast Iron Filter possess that rare quality that attracts folks from all walks of life. When it’s all said and done, Cast Iron Filter’s real draws lie in the strength of the music and the contagious energy surrounding its stage performance. And as far as the overall reaction, the band is pulling fans from all walks of life. Cast Iron Filter plays for the textile mill worker in Gastonia, North Carolina as easily as it does for the investment banker in New York City. The music just brings people in the door. |
