Artist description
a dim halo is a 5-piece instrumental group. people have used terms like "psychedelic", "space-rock", and "spiritual" to describe our music, which is awfully nice of them. sometimes it's dark, sometimes it's beautiful. sometimes it's melodic, sometimes it's chaotic. we have no grand musical manifesto, no genre-defying description. we just play music that we find beautiful, and for that we're thankful. and if other people find it beautiful, that's an added bonus. |

Artist History
a dim halo began in the summer of 2000. nolan, george, and jason began writing instrumental music with the help of some stanley kubrick samples. unfortunately, they couldn't keep a beat. clint solved that when he came back from his stint at a summer camp. nate joined in the fall of 2000 and a dim halo played their first show on december 12, 2000.we have no agenda or manifesto, no grandiose musical statement. we're too silly for that. we're just 5 guys fortunate enough to be able to create music that we think is beautiful.hopefully, you'll find it beautiful too... |
