Artist History Bobby & I started this project about 16 years ago playing mostly on tailgates in the middle of lease roads serenading piles of empty beer cans. An occasional party and even a rare opportunity to play the world famous BOWLEGS CAFE.Jerry Jeff Walker & Guy Clark were our Van Halen and Def Leppard, of course no one understood what we were doing until we got older and now what we do is "cool".I left my roots several years ago to try out mainstream country & found that I lost a lot of myself and some of my friends on that road.Bobby was always there to kick me in the ass & say, "come on let's hit a dirt road, what you're looking for is there." he was right.We are very fortunate to have Clint & Jon with us. Clint's personality only enhances his ability as an outstanding upright bass player and Jon with his hard-driving rock background has given LWC it's own distinct sound. What we do is simple, down to earth & if it makes people happy for a while then we have accomplished what we have set out to do. We have come to the realization that we probably won't get rich doing this but who knows IF THE GOOD LORDS WILLIN' AND THE CREEKS DON'T RISESomething might just happen
