Artist description
Probaly "The best rockin blues band this side of Gulnare". We're a five peice rock 'n' blues band working mostly in smokey pubs and such in the mid north of Sth Australia. We perform a lot of orginal material with covers such as Fleetwood Macks Black Magic Woman and the Animals We gotta Get out but a little more up tempo. We just sorta thought the mid north could use a bit of Blues and done something about it. |

Artist History
Well...although we all knew each other before hand and had jammed a few times, we didn't get serious till decided to form The Dogz in August of 2000 after having a few jams and such at some local pubs and a folk fair. The local pub give us a go on a Friday nite and it's just kept on keepin on from there. Mick & Glen write most of the material, but it takes us all to make it happen . At most of the Gigs the original material seems to go down pretty well prompting us to record a our Howlin CD at Industry Studios in Adeliade in November. "Ya gotta getem while there hot". We're looking forward to playing in MaryBough Victoria at a blues festival in Nov and another in Adelaide in Feb 2002. |
